Why should your company become a World Airline Road Race Sponsor?
The World Airline Road Race was formed in 1982 and is an annual run with various ancillary events that attract 1,000 to 1,200 airline industry participants and guests to various worldwide destinations. The primary focus of the World Airline Road Race is the 5K and/or 10K WARR run while supporting a local charity in the host country. For the runner, the World Airline Road Race continues to fulfill its original mandate to provide a worldwide athletic event, promote travel within the airline industry and to foster friendships among people from around the world.
Attendees are seeking to meet new people from around the world and to enjoy the many special social events that take place during the World Airline Road Race week. The World Airline Road Race has continued growth has attracted many distinguished sponsors, city dignitaries and international runners, providing future hosts and sponsors with a unique opportunity to showcase their cities and products.
Our goals are too:
1. Provide a worldwide athletic event.
2. Promote travel within the airline industry.
3. Foster friendships and co-ordination between airlines.
4. Donate to a local charity.
ECONOMIC IMPACT FOR OUR HOST CITIES
The economic impact of the World Airline Road Race is estimated to be in excess of 3.0 million dollars. The World Airline Road Race, unlike locally organized road races, provides an opportunity to promote Sponsors, locally, nationally and internationally.
The World Airline Road Race is a cost-effective way to reach people at all levels in the airline and travel industries. Sponsors will have exposure to many new customers, making many public and civic contacts through their association with WARR. Dedicated airline employees will promote World Airline Road Race sponsors throughout the World.
